Man dies after crashing car into a tree

JUPITER, Fla. (CBS12) — A man has died nearly two weeks after crashing his car into a tree.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said they don’t know what caused the crash involving Richard Eldred, 68.

The crash happened on Nov. 28 at 12785 Sandy Run in Jupiter.

Eldred was found in the driver’s seat seriously injured and was taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center where he died on Dec. 11.
