Man injured in Fort Myers motorcycle crash

FORT MYERS, Fla. – A motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital after crashing in Fort Myers on Thursday.

The crash happened around 5:15 p.m. just outside of Page Field on Fowler Street near N. Airport Road.

Fort Myers police said that the motorcyclist lost control, left the road, and hit a light pole before coming to a rest.

The man was alert while EMS treated him at the scene.

A witness who was traveling right next to the biker said the motorcycle was speeding right before the crash.

The man’s condition is unknown.
