OVERTURNED CAR: Rescuers On Scene Of Crash Near Whispering Pines Elementary

Teens Transported To Hospital.

12:36 – Palm Beach County Fire Rescue is on the scene of a serious crash at Lyons Road and Spanish Isles Blvd.

A silver Nissan has overturned with people trapped inside. Extrication is underway. Lyons Road is closed in both directions.

12:39 – The occupants are now out of the vehicle. Injuries unclear.

12:52 – Fire Rescue units are beginning to clear the scene. Two patients, one 17 and one 14 are being taken to West Boca Medical Center. Rescuers report that airbags were deployed in the vehicle and the teens were not seriously injured.
