Traffic accident on W Silver Springs Boulevard blocks all lanes, two people trauma-alerted to hospital

A traffic accident is currently blocking all lanes of traffic on W Silver Springs Boulevard in Ocala.

According to a social media post from Ocala Police Department, a traffic accident occurred late in the afternoon on W Silver Springs Boulevard. The post was made just before 5 p.m. today.

All eastbound and westbound lanes on W Silver Springs Boulevard are currently blocked between 40th Avenue and 52nd Avenue.

Two people were trauma-alerted to the hospital. The names of those involved in the crash have not been released.
