A woman has been taken to the hospital after a scooter and a vehicle collided in St. Petersburg Friday afternoon.
The intersection of 1st Avenue North and 16th Street North is closed, the St Petersburg Police Department said in a news release around 2 p.m.
All lanes of 16th Street North are closed from Burlington Avenue to Central Avenue, and westbound traffic on 1st Avenue North is being detoured to 13th Street North, police say. Drivers are asked to find alternate routes.
No additional details are available at this time.
