Ruskin man, 35, dies in I-75 crash in Hillsborough County
A 35-year-old man from Ruskin has died after losing control and crashing his vehicle on Interstate 75 Wednesday afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The man was driving southbound near milepost 243 when he experienced a medical emergency around 3:20 p.m., the Highway Patrol said in a news release. He lost control of his van, driving onto the west shoulder before running into a wood line.
The man was declared dead at the scene, troopers said.
The Highway Patrol did not release the name of the man.
