Mother, 6-month-old son killed in U.S. 19 crash in Hernando County

HERNANDO COUNTY, Fla. — Investigators say a 35-year-old mother and her 6-month-old son were killed in a four-vehicle crash Monday morning on U.S. 19 in Hernando County.

All lanes of U.S. 19 remain closed at Berkeley Manor Boulevard. The Florida Highway Patrol urges drivers to use alternate routes.
