Motorcyclist dies after crash involving car in Orange County
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A 21-year-old Orlando man riding a motorcycle died after a crash involving a vehicle in Orange County Wednesday afternoon, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash occurred on Dean Road and Bloomfield Drive around 2:10 p.m.
According to a crash report, a 29-year-old woman was traveling south on Dean Road while the motorcyclist was traveling north on the same road.
The driver of the car attempted to turn left to travel east onto Bloomfield Drive when they turned into the path of the motorcyclist. Troopers said the front of the motorcyclist hit the passenger side of the vehicle.
The FHP said the Orlando man was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The crash remains under investigation.
