FHP: Kissimmee man dies in afternoon ATV accident
The Florida Highway Patrol reports that a 30-year-old man died Wednesday afternoon when his ATV overturned at a construction site.
The man from Kissimmee was pronounced deceased on the scene, the FHP report said.
The man was riding the ATV inside a new home construction site near Poinciana Boulevard and Royal Point Avenue, just north of Old Tampa Highway and John Young Parkway. Around 525 p.m. the rider lost control, and the ATV overturned on top of him. The rider was not wearing a helmet, per the FHP report.
The crash remains under investigation.
