60-year-old woman dies after being hit by tractor-trailer in Orlando
ORLANDO, Fla. — A woman was killed Wednesday night while trying to cross a street in Orlando.
Florida Highway Patrol said it happened around 10 p.m. in the area of Orange Blossom Trail and Consulate Drive.
Officials say a tractor-trailer was traveling northbound on Orange Blossom Trail when a 60-year-old female pedestrian attempted to cross.
She was not in a crosswalk or intersection and was struck.
Officials say she died at Dr. Phillips Hospital.
