Pompano Beach, FL – Truck Accident with Injuries on I-95 Near Copans Rd

Pompano Beach, FL (November 25, 2021) – Before 2 a.m. on Thursday morning, November 25, a truck accident with injuries occurred in Pompano Beach.

According to Broward County officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-95 around the area of exit 38, Copans Road. A truck was traveling in the area when it collided with a passenger vehicle due to reasons that are not fully known. The passenger vehicle was extensively damaged as a result.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.

Due to the severity of the accident, all lanes of traffic were blocked for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
