Miami, FL – Serious Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on NW 14th Ct
Miami, FL (October 24, 2021) – At 12 p.m. on Sunday, October 24, a hit-and-run pedestrian accident occurred on a roadway in Miami.
According to Miami-Dade Police, the accident happened at 7900 Northwest 14th Court. A black pickup truck was headed north when the truck struck a pedestrian walking in the area. The driver did not remain at the scene and fled the accident.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The 50-year-old pedestrian male was severely injured in the accident. He was rushed to Ryder Trauma Center for treatment of his injuries.
The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
