Pedestrian seriously hurt in hit-and-run crash on I-295

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Troopers are searching for a driver who they say struck a man walking along Interstate 295 in Jacksonville early Monday morning.
The Florida Highway Patrol said the 28-year-old was hit by a vehicle just after 3:30 a.m. on I-295 South near Normandy Boulevard.
He was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
FHP does not have a description of the vehicle at this time.
