FHP: Woman killed crossing Dunn Ave.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A 66-year-old woman was killed Saturday night around 6:57 p.m. while trying to cross the northbound lane from midblock on Dunn Ave.
The woman attempted to cross without using a crosswalk or yielding to oncoming traffic west of Harts Rd. She was hit by a Chevy Silverado traveling eastbound in the center lane and died on impact.
The driver was a 52-year-old man with 34-year-old and 22-year-old female passengers.
