SUV slams into Fort Myers apartment building

FORT MYERS, Fla. – An SUV rammed through a Fort Myers apartment building earlier Friday afternoon.

The Fort Myers Fire Department arrived on scene around 1:17 p.m to find the SUV crashed through an apartment located at 3734 Central Avenue.

Fire officials said the driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. No one inside the apartment building was injured.
