Motorcyclist seriously injured in SR-82 crash
LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. – A Lehigh Acres motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash on State Road 82 near Sunshine Boulevard South early Friday morning.
Around 6:45 a.m., troopers responded to the area after a 61-year-old Cape Coral man switched lanes on SR-82 hitting the motorcyclist, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The 26-year-old Lehigh Acres man driving the motorcycle was seriously injured in the crash. Troopers said he was not wearing a helmet.
The Cape Coral man and his 5-year-old passenger were uninjured in the incident.
No further details have been released.
