The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating after a motorcyclist was killed in a crash in the New Smyrna Beach area Tuesday afternoon.
The 70-year-old Merritt Island man was traveling southbound about 3:50 p.m. on State Road 415 near State Road 44 when a sedan traveling north on S.R. 415 lost control and turned into the motorcycle’s path, according to the rep. The motorcycle struck the front, right side of the sedan.
