Woman crashes into canal after leaving dealership
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A woman leaving an area car dealership was killed after she apparently drove into a nearby canal.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said a witness saw a 2020 Toyota Camry pull out of Toyota of Palm Beach.
Authorities say, “for unknown reasons,” 41-year-old Mirna Centeno crossed S. Congress Avenue and hit a curb on the other side.
The car continued down a grass embankment and into the canal that’s just south of Southern Boulevard.
The car was fully submerged when Palm Beach County Fire Rescue pulled Centeno from it.
The woman from Deltona was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.
