Elderly woman crashes into canal in West Palm Beach

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Emergency crews took an elderly woman to the hospital after she crashed into a canal.

Police said the woman went off the road and crashed through some trees before landing in the canal off 36th Street and Townhouse Court.

The woman’s car ended up partially submerged in the canal.

Authorities said the woman suffered minor injuries but went to the hospital for an evaluation.
