40-Year-Old Holiday Man On A Scooter, Killed When Pickup Truck Runs Stop Sign
PASCO COUNTY, FL. – A 40-year-old Holiday man was killed in a crash that happened on Tuesday around 6:00 pm.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, a Ford F150 was traveling westbound on Fairwinds Road, approaching Colony Road.
Troopers say the Holiday man was heading eastbound on Lake Karl Drive, approaching Colony Road. At the intersection, the Holiday man stopped for a posted stop sign and proceeded to make a left turn.
Investigators say the pickup truck, driven by a -year-old Spring Hill man, failed to stop, entered the intersection, and collided with the Yamaha QT50 motorized bike.
The Holiday man was transported to a local hospital but later died from injuries suffered in the crash.
