HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL. – Florida Highway Patrol Troopers continue to investigate the early morning fatal crash along eastbound I-4, near Mile Marker 19.
Troopers say a 48-year-old Orlando man was struck and killed by at least seven vehicles as he walked northbound across the eastbound lanes of the interstate for an unknown reason.
No drivers were injured during the collisions, according to FHP.
The crash closed the eastbound lanes of the interstate until 12:40 PM on Tuesday.
