Motorcyclist dead in St. Petersburg crash
The St. Petersburg Police Department is currently investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist.
The crash occurred at approximately 9 p.m. on Friday, February 11, 2022.
Investigators say a silver Nissan Sentra traveling south on 34th Street N attempted to turn left onto 9th Avenue North. It turned into the path of a motorcycle that was traveling north on 34th Street. The motorcycle struck the car and the motorcycle driver, a 62- year- old man from Lake Panasoffkee, FL, died at the scene.
His name was not released due to pending next of kin notification.
