Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-95 Near Atlantic Blvd

Pompano Beach, FL (December 11, 2021) – At 1:36 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, December 11, a multi-vehicle crash occurred in Pompano Beach.

According to Broward County officials, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-95 around the area of exit 36, Atlantic Boulevard. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the northbound lanes of the highway when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.

All lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
