Miami, FL – Fatal Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Crash at SW 127th Ave & 152nd St
Miami, FL (October 29, 2021) – Around 5 a.m. on Friday morning, October 29, a fatal hit-and-run pedestrian crash occurred at an intersection in Miami.
According to Miami-Dade County Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Southwest 127th Avenue and 152nd Street. A male pedestrian was crossing the street in the area when he was suddenly struck by a passenger vehicle. Police confirmed that the driver of the vehicle did not stop at the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. The pedestrian, who has not yet been formally identified, was tragically pronounced dead at the scene due to traumatic injuries.
Police spoke with those in the area, who said that this area is an issue for many due to speeding drivers. They have not yet identified the driver who caused the accident.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing.
