Fatal crash shuts down section of I-595 East in Davie

A fatal three-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer has shut down all lanes of Interstate 595 East near University Drive in Davie, officials said.

The crash occurred east of University Drive, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers have confirmed one fatality in the crash.

Traffic is being diverted off the exit to State Road 84.
