Car Accident with Injuries in SB Lanes of I-95

Hallandale Beach, FL (January 14, 2022) – Injuries were reported in a car accident that took place on a highway in Hallandale Beach.

According to Broward County officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-95 around the area of exit 18, Hallandale Beach Boulevard. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, causing the vehicles to collide with each other. The involved vehicles were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene. 

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment of unknown injuries. 

All lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene. 

No further details have been released but the investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
