Pedestrian hurt after being hit by car on Atlantic Blvd.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A pedestrian was seriously injured Monday after they were hit by a car near the Holiday Hill neighborhood.

According to Jacksonville Fire and Rescue, the collision happened near the intersection of Atlantic Boulevard and Scholars Way around 2 p.m.

The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

No other details were immediately available.
