JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A bicyclist was killed in a crash in the 14000 block of Mt. Pleasant Road on Thursday evening.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, the male biker in his 50s was riding in the area around 7:25 p.m. and a Dodge pickup truck failed to see him since the bike had no lights and he was not wearing any reflective clothing.
The bicyclist was hit and killed.
All westbound lanes of 14000 Mt. Pleasant Rd. are closed for a few more hours.
