FERNANDINA BEACH, Fla. — Two people were injured in a crash Saturday morning in Fernandina Beach.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at about 1:09 a.m., blue Nissan Versa was heading south on State Road 200 and hit the back of a Jeep Gladiator that was stopped at a red light at Beech Street.
First responders took the driver of the Nissan to the hospital with minor injuries. The passenger in the Nissan was also taken to the hospital with serious injuries, FHP said. She was not wearing a seatbelt.
No one inside the Jeep was hurt in the crash.
FHP says charges are pending.
