A 28-year-old Jacksonville woman was driving eastbound on the Hart Bridge from Gator Bowl Boulevard in the westbound lane, when her SUV struck a Jacksonville Transportation Authority bus head-on.

She and her 26-year-old passenger, a woman also from Jacksonville, were taken to UF Health Jacksonville where they died of their injuries. Both were wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
