A 54-year-old man is dead following a motorcycle crash on I-295 North on the Buckman Bridge Sunday, the Florida Highway Patrol confirmed.
The man was traveling north on the Buckman Bridge around 7 p.m. when his motorcycle struck an unoccupied maintenance truck that was stopped in the left lane.
The man was ejected from the motorcycle and he collided with a passing sedan. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries. He has not been identified.
The driver of the sedan was uninjured and the maintenance truck had its emergency lights on while it was stationary.
