Crash kills 74-year-old Nassau County man
Callahan, FL — A pickup truck collided with a tree early Monday morning, killing a 74-year-old man from Callahan, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at 4:45 a.m. on U.S. 1 and Landfill Road.
The truck was traveling northbound when it crossed over the grass median and entered the tree line.
It’s not clear right now what caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
The driver’s name has not been released.
