Pedestrian hit in Fort Myers fatal crash
FORT MYERS, Fla. — A 62-year-old Sarasota man was killed after he was hit by a car while crossing University Parkway in Lee County Saturday morning.
A 44-year-old Sarasota man was driving east on University Parkway when the pedestrian walked into the road in front of the driver, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The driver crashed into the pedestrian who was pronounced dead on the scene, troopers said.
