North Fort Myers man wakes to car fire in driveway

The man told Lee County deputies that he tried to put out the flames but in the process he burned his hands and legs. He was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital to be treated for his injuries.

The man said he wants to press charges against whoever is responsible for setting his car on fire, according to the sheriff’s office incident report. It’s unclear if the car fire is being investigated as arson.
