Fort Myers man, woman killed in crash on I-10 in Walton County
WALTON COUNTY, Fla. — A 28-year-old man and 24-year-old woman, both from Fort Myers, were killed in a wreck Friday morning in Walton County.
The crash happened around 3:15 a.m. on I-10 west near mile marker 73.
Florida Highway Patrol says a Ford Mustang “ran off the left side of the roadway and collided with a tree.” It was the only vehicle involved.
The 28-year-old driver was pronounced dead on scene. The woman passenger was transported to the Fort Walton Beach Medical Center where she was later pronounced dead.
