2 From Wesley Chapel Killed In Rollover Crash On SR-56, Witnesses Sought
PASCO COUNTY, FL. – A man and woman, both from Wesley Chapel, were killed in a crash that happened on SR-56 Wednesday.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, a 52-year-old Wesley Chapel man in a 2017 Nissan Rogue, was traveling eastbound on SR-56.
Troopers say a 17-year-old Wesley Chapel boy driving a 2017 Honda Accord, was traveling westbound on SR-56.
At the intersection of Lajuana Boulevard, troopers say the 52-year-old man turned left into the path of the teen and was struck by the vehicle.
Upon impact, the Nissan Rogue overturned and both occupants were ejected from the vehicle, with both suffering fatal injuries at the scene of the crash.
